The Specialized Carriers & Rigging Foundation (SC&RF) offers the Vocational/Technical Scholarship for individuals pursuing training or certification in the specialized transport, crane, or rigging industries. Awards range from $500 up to $5,000, funded annually to support career advancement in areas like diesel mechanics, welding, crane operation, bookkeeping, or driver certification programs.
Applications are open to anyone, including members of the general public and SC&RA company employees and are accepted on a rolling basis, with deadlines on the last day of every even-numbered month through December 31, 2025. Applications are reviewed approximately two weeks after each deadline. Applicants must submit proof of course enrollment and a letter of recommendation, and cannot apply for completed courses.
Awards are disbursed directly to the training institution, and recipients must register for their course within 30 days to secure the funding.
