The Imagine America Foundation (IAF) is a nonprofit organization that provides scholarships, financial aid, and educational resources to students pursuing career-focused education at participating trade schools, and career colleges in the United States. Since its beginning in 1982, IAF has supported students who are interested in technical and vocational training by helping them understand and afford the cost of their education.^^vi

What is it?

  • The Imagine America Military Award Program (MAP) is designed to help military service members receive career education and make the transition from military to civilian life.

When is it?

Who can apply?

Prospective MAP applicants must meet the following guidelines to apply:

  • Be enrolling into a participating college
  • Active duty, reservist, honorably discharged or retired veteran of the United States military
  • Likelihood of enrolling and successfully completing postsecondary education
  • Not be a previous recipient of any other Imagine America Foundation scholarships/awards
  • Financial need
