About this Scholarship

StrataTech Education Group is the parent company of Tulsa Welding School. The group supports the skilled trades through vocational training programs and scholarships to help TWS students fund their educational investment.

The Driven scholarship program is designed to provide tuition assistance to eligible students who demonstrated their “Drive” to succeed by successfully completing their program without any enrollment interruptions. The student will apply for consideration at the time of enrollment and will be evaluated for eligibility at the time of graduation. The criterion outlined below has been designed to give the Scholarship Awarding Committee maximum flexibility in awarding the scholarship. Recipients will be selected without regard to race, sex, color, creed, religious preference, age, national origin, or disability.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • enroll into a program with at least 25 weeks of expected enrollment;
  • enroll after July 30, 2025, with a start date in August 2025;
  • be a U. S. citizen or permanent resident;
  • complete the Tuition Planning process within 5 calendar days of enrollment;
  • apply for and accept any applicable state, agency, and/or federal student aid (other than PLUS);
  • complete a Scholarship Request form;
  • have no lapse in proper registration or break in attendance and maintain an 80% overall attendance rate; and graduate with a 3.0 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).
